UPCOMING SERVICE UNIT EVENTS

Winter Wonders: December 10, 2011

Winter Wonders is a craft event run by Girl Scouts in Grades 5-12. It is attended by scouts in grades K-3. The event allows for approx 100 scouts to attend and will include stations of crafts, Xmas bingo, snack, community service collection, patch, and an opportunity to check out camp. Troops running the event will have the opportunity to spend the entire weekend at camp. Troops running the event can also earn leadership hours or use the hours for community service work requirements. Leaders who bring their troops can relax and enjoy a private lounge with refreshments and a roaring fire!

We will start planning meetings for older troops to discuss their craft ideas in early Oct. We will have an additional meeting in early Nov. Registration for the event will be available approximately Nov. 1st and will close as soon as the limit is filled. The event will be held on Dec 10, 2011 from 10a-1p at Camp Stonybrook.
