Service Project: Good Samaritan Hospital
Good Samaritan Hospital has asked SU #457 to continue making preemie caps for their NICU and for Bethesda Hospital. The caps are made using the Knifty Knitter small loom and the Knifty Knitter bloom loom. Kits can be purchased at Wal-Mart and other locations for approx $6.00. A cap takes approx. 30 mins for a micro preemie cap (1-3 pound baby) and about 1hr for a small cap (3-6 pound baby)
